Our house is really taking shape! You can actually tell it is a house and inside you can see how each room is laid out.
There is a roof, windows, front & back door. As you can see the brick is there ready to be installed. The inside is framed out and there is rough electrical and plumbing!
But there have also been a couple of issues we have had to deal with.
We are installing a tankless water heater that vents outside. See the photo, that is it. The problem is it is smack dab in the middle of our master bedroom wall where our bed is to be. Since our house is basically rectangular shaped, and we have a lot of windows on the back side of our house we didn't have a lot of options. We didn't run the risk of hearing it come on it had to be relocated. The plumber grudgingly moved it to the opposite end of the house and placed it in the garage. We were glad and will just have to wait a little longer for hot water. Oh well!! I'm still not sure those flex water pipes(red & white tubes) won't get hit by nails after drywall goes up.
We just notice the plumber ran the gas line in the attic space my husband is wanting to use for storage. That is going to have to be moved also. I'm sure they will love that!! And also will charge us for moving the line that is in the way. Oh the joys :)
I've started working part-time at a church as their publications person. I'm not real familiar with Photoshop and it is kicking my butt. Since I'm not real quick doing projects, my time is being taken up learning Photoshop tips. Hopefully I can get a handle on it and my hours will be part-time.
That is what is happening here. Have a great day
